Bursaries
The Festival Committee expresses its gratitude to the organizations, firms and individuals who have so generously donated Bursaries. Each year, due to the generosity of our Patrons, Donors, and Corporate Supporters, the Mid Island Performing Arts Festival typically awards bursaries to dozens of deserving young performers totalling more than $20,000. Each prospective recipient must be studying now or planning further study in the field for which the award is given and is carefully reviewed to be certain he/she qualifies before being recommended by professional Adjudicators.
